How do you determine what books you’re going to read next?

I wish I knew. ha!
Ultimately, I’m a mood reader. If I’m not feeling it, I can’t force myself to read. If it feels like homework, I can’t.
Lately, I’ve been on a big romance kick. Sometimes I’m in the mood for an eerie Thriller. Other times, I’m all about audiobooks. It just depends.

Sometimes I also need a deadline, like a publishing date, to give me the kick in the pants I need to read.

What ARC would you wait hours in line for?

Anything by Tarryn Fisher or Amy Harmon.

What bookish merch/pre-order incentives/etc. is your favorite?

I’m all about Book Beau Beans. If you’re a mom and used a Boppy for your babies, it’s like that, except for your books. Greatest invention ever!

What topic would you love to see some of your favorite authors talk about?

I love it when authors talk about anything they’re passionate about. It could be a certain subject they’re infusing into their writing or a message they want to convey to their readers. Anything that fuels their writing is interesting to learn about.

What book festival/con would you go to if you had the choice?

I’ve never been to any of these, but Book Bonanza was a really interesting experience. I’m not really big on going to huge events with large crowds though. I prefer smaller, more intimate book signings.
