February Recap + March TBR

img_2593

Hi, friends!!

February was not my best reading month and I’m not expecting big accomplishments in March either, unfortunately. Life has become quite hectic with kids’ sports and I find that I’m struggling to stay awake long enough at night to read much. I can’t seem to focus when I have time to actually read since my mind is going a million miles an hour. Are you like me and struggle to read the busier life gets?

Nonetheless, I’m hoping I can check a few ARCs off my list over Spring Break on my new couch. 😉

Happy Leap Day! I wish I was spending my extra day reading, but I think I’ll be stuck in a gym all day. Read all the words for me, too!

I know that feeling trying to organise around school, clubs and sports and then all the others things! Good luck finding some more time next month – I’ve been disappearing off upstairs about 8pm every night recently to read, if I leave it any later then I just fall asleep 😀

I am impressed with what you accomplished in February. When I was working and had kids and all that went with them, I was lucky to read one book a week. Now that I am retired and live alone, I am loving that I can read whenever I want. Just enjoy when you get the time to do it.

    1. Thank you, Carla! Audiobooks have helped me keep up a bit with my reading goals, but I’m afraid this month will be a bit tougher.

I have to find the joy in this phase of my life too, even though it’s not quite as peaceful as I would like. But, I must say, I’m a little bit envious of the quiet you have!

I was not sure how I would adapt, but it is wonderful. You will find your equilibrium.

Reading once the young one is in bed is hit or miss with me. Usually I just want to collapse! It looks like you read some good books this month!

  5. Haven’t read Then She Was Gone yet, although I did like The Family Upstairs by Jewell. I’ll keep an eye out for this, my library seems to have plenty of her books in stock!

    1. YAY! The Simple Wild is one of my all-time favorites! I really hope you’ll love it too.

It’s the worst not being able to focus on books. 😦 I lack the peace I normally find in life without reading.

You should be proud of yourself bcoz within the short span of time that you try hard to find in a day, you are penning down amazing articles that help others a lot..( especially me). I know how hard it is to find time to read amid your hectic schedule.. but don’t give up. You sure can conquer more. It would be amazing if you could wake up early, grab a quick coffee and then set to read in a place where you can find solace.. All the best for this month…!!!
