My Favorite Books of 2019

img_1551I may be jumping the gun a bit in posting this, seeing as I still have time to read another great book before the year is over, but making the list of my favorite reads of the year is one of my favorite things to do as a book blogger! It’s so much fun to reflect on the books that have become a part of me or impacted me in some way. I don’t select a specific number of books – a top ten list isn’t important to me. Instead, I keep a running list of the books I’ve loved as I finish them throughout the year. Then, I go back and narrow them down after the post-reading-high has worn off. I want to highlight the books that continue to stick out in my mind as the greats, the ones I could recall detail by detail without hesitation.

This list encompasses the best of the best of the 100+ books I’ve read this year. If you have not had a chance to read some of these, I’m giving them my highest recommendation in the hopes that you might read one or two! There’s something for everyone – Historical Fiction, Romance, Women’s Fiction, Nonfiction, Science Fiction, a Classic, and a Thriller.

Wonderful list. There are some on her that I read and loved, some on my TBR and some I am not familiar with. I have The Wives coming up soon, so I am getting antsy.
