October Recap + November TBR

img_0932

Whew! October was a rough reading month for me. I’m trying to lower my sky-high standards because I know I still read more than the average person is able to accomplish in a month, but it was still the slowest month I’ve had in years. I’ve been DNFing books like crazy and I haven’t particularly loved anything besides Regretting You by Colleen Hoover. Regardless, I’m happy I was able to read The Shining, which was my main goal for October. Here’s to a clean slate and our next to last month of 2019 (crazy)!

I’m wishing you all well as we enter into the holiday season!

I’ve had months like that! I think it was August or September that I DNF 3 Books! That’s a lot in one month and I read 30-50% of each before discarding. So I felt like I wasted so much time! Happy November 1st! Cheers 🥂 to a new month!
