I haven’t come up with any summer lists and have been pretty lax with my blog for this whole season. It’s been a great refresher to spend time with my family without stress or a defined to-do list though, so no complaints from me! While I’m looking forward to Fall and cooler weather, the Back to School Blues have set in.

A Series You Plan on Finishing by the End of the Summer

Maybe I can finally finish The Summer Garden, the last book in The Bronze Horseman Series by Paullina Simons. I started the book at the beginning of the year and never finished it because I got caught up on ARCs and other backlist books.

A Bookish Goal You Want to Accomplish

I have many but I mainly want to finish most of my Netgalley books, avoid the request button, and get back to my Beat the Backlist Challenge.

A Non-Bookish Goal You Set for Yourself for the Summer

To get back into running shape. I’m not where I want to be but when I started this Spring, I couldn’t run two miles without stopping. Yesterday I ran three and was fairly pleased with myself. I need to improve my speeds but I’m happy with the progress I’ve made this summer.

Read on the Beach or in a Park?

I would say beach, but I don’t like lazing around on the beach. I’d rather swim. For the sake of this question, I’ll say park. Though, I don’t read outside at all in the summer because it’s too blasted hot in Texas.

Go-To Summer Read: Cute Romance or Thriller?

In the Summer, I’m all about cute romance reads. I like Thrillers for Fall and Winter.

What’s Your Biggest Dream/Goal in Life?

For myself, I want to travel to Europe. For my family, I want my kids to love God and find whatever happiness means to them.
