April Recap + May TBR

img_9939Happy May!!

I can’t believe we’re nearing the halfway mark of 2019. I have to say, I’m happy with my reading progress this year. I’m over halfway to my goal of 50 books for the Beat the Backlist Challenge and I’ve managed to read several new releases as well. Despite the 12 books waiting for me on Netgalley right now, I think I’ve balanced my reading goals pretty well.

April was a pretty decent reading month. I read four five-star books and was able to read a few Nicholas Sparks books with my friend, Megan, The Moody Mama Reads. Without further ado, here’s my list of April books and my upcoming May TBR.

How was your reading month? Did you accomplish what you hoped to?

  1. Read and liked When the Lights Go Out but unfortunately was not a fan of The Mother In Law book. You had some great reads this past month.

    1. Thank you!! The Mother-in-Law was kind of misclassified. It wasn’t what I would consider a thriller at all.

      1. I wouldn’t either and I so disliked the main character!

  2. You’ve a good reading month! 🙂 The Mother-In-Law is on my TBR. I’m trying to reduce my NG TBR but it’s hell, haha!

I hope May will be great for you.
