What a great year it’s been and in terms of ratings, December was a great reading month with five five-star reads! Two of the books from this month made my list of favorites for the year, which is a hefty accomplishment in the last month of 2018. I set my reading goal low for me, at 100 books, hoping to stick to quality over quantity, and luckily finished the year with both. I finished my 125th book this morning, a beautiful book by J. Lynn Bailey that I’ll be reviewing right at the beginning of the new year.
Thank you all for helping me reach 300 followers here on WordPress as well. My first two months here as a solo blogger have been amazing, thanks to the welcoming nature of the book community. I’m excited to see what 2019 has in store and I look forward to getting to know all of you better in the months to come.

I’ve read Wonder and Every Breath and absolutely loved both. Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author and to me he can do no wrong.

I haven’t read a Nicholas Sparks book since See Me. I’m so excited. He’s one of the authors that got me back into reading years ago.

I haven’t read every book that he has written but I own a copy of all of them. Everybody seemed to hate See Me and at first I was worried because the tone of it was completely different to his usual work but ended up loving that book.
