Mystery Blogger Award
So What Exactly is the Mystery Blogger Award?
The ‘Mystery Blogger Award’ is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.
– Okoto Enigma (the creator of the award)
Thank you so much to Surina @ The Bloggisters for nominating me for this award!! I’m so flattered and excited!!
The Rules
- Put the award logo/image on your blog
- List the rules.
- Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
- Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well
- Tell your readers 3 things about yourself
- You have to nominate 10 – 20 people
- Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog
- Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify)
- Share a link to your best post(s)
Three Things About Myself:
- I’m kind of weirdly obsessed with learning more about the Myers-Briggs Test and Introversion. I’m an INFP, do you know your type?
- I used to live in Michigan, Alabama, and Colorado.
- I’m a stay-at-home mom and homeschool two of my three kids.
The Questions
- What is your favorite book and why? (I’ll give cookies to anyone who says Six of Crows!)
I’ve never read Six of Crows (it’s on my list), sorry! My favorite book of all time is Marrow by Tarryn Fisher. I relate to the main character in so many ways, it’s beautifully written, and it speaks to the darkest parts of my soul. - Why did you decide to start blogging?
I was asked by a friend if I would start with her over two years ago. I didn’t realize just how much I would love it back then! - What is the weirdest combination of food you’ve ever eaten? (This is supposed to be the weird and funny question. Keyword: supposed to.)
When I was a kid, I went to Girl Scout camp and they had one of the nastiest concoctions I’ve ever eaten. Everyone had to bring something to add to a soup that night for dinner. For some reason, there was an overload of oranges and celery that were basically added to chicken noodle soup. I HATE oranges and celery separately. Needless to say, every bite resulted in a gag. I’m still traumatized. - What is number one on your bucket list?
Visit England. - What is one thing that irks you to no end?
I hate being told what to do. Nagging will immediately result in an act of defiance on my part, because I’m someone who always tries to keep my word. If I say I will do something, I plan to do it.
The best example of this: I used to own a photography business and people would constantly contact me to ask when their pictures would be done. It instantly took all of motivation away and made me want to make them wait forever.
This is a surely a horrible character flaw.

Okay, I’m calm now. But it’s really good, you should read it! And that food combo was nasty! (I also hate celery.)

Thank you! Unfortunately once we got into October even though the weather has been dry here, we haven’t seen any of the wildlife we’d been seeing all summer.

Wonderful answers and thank you for linking to me. Sorry it’s taken so long to comment – life’s been full of distractions! I’ll have to take a look at the questions this week. Plus you should definitely visit England. We have lots of book-related visitor attractions!
