Top Ten Tuesday – 10 Backlist Books I Want to Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

I decided to hop on the bandwagon and give the Top Ten Tuesday a go for the first time! This week’s topic is: Backlist Books I Want to Read. I have many great books to catch up on, written before I was an active reader and blogger, making this an easy topic to chat about!

First up is Running Barefoot by Amy Harmon. I still have to catch up on Amy’s first three books including Slow Dance in Purgatory and Prom Night in Purgatory. I snagged a signed paperback of this one at Book Bonanza over the summer, so I need to set aside time to read it. I always tend to put off the books I own in favor of ARCs and library holds coming in. It’s a bad habit I need to break! Amy is one of my very favorite authors and I’m ashamed I haven’t read all of her books yet!

I’m also hoping to get through The Design and The Duet by R.S. Grey this month, along with as many of her early books as possible.

The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski has been on my TBR since I created my Goodreads account. Periodically I’ll see people still raving about this book and mentally kick myself for not checking it off my list yet.

Tracy Garvis Graves is one of the early Indie authors every one seems to love and I’ve yet to read any of her books. I have an ARC of The Girl He Used Know sitting on my kitchen counter, but have other books to work for before the publication date approaches. My TBR is literally crushing me, guys! So many books, such little time! If only I had actively started reading years ago, the backlist wouldn’t be so insane!

I also need to read The Paper Swan by Leylah Attar. I only hear good things about this book and can’t wait to read it myself.

A couple more books on the list are: The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchinson and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman.

Have you guys already finished some of these titles? If so, what did you think?

I’m dying to read more Amy Harmon! I’m hoping Santa might get me more of her books for Christmas 😇 Girl, I can’t even look at my TBR right now. It’s too depressing. Feel confident in the fact that you are moving along much faster than most of us! Haha. I love On The Island and I have a gut feeling that you’ll love it too.

    1. That makes me excited! I can’t wait to read it. I think I will request it through interlibrary loan at the end of the month.
